James.

So my brother James left for the Army on Monday. Brad and I picked him up and dropped him off at the Recruiting office from which he was leaving. It was a sad fairwell. He was trying to be manly though he appeared scared to death. He also tried to show that he didn't need good byes, but was happy we were there.
This departure was hard, because in the weeks leading up to his leaving James has had.. trials. He has needed alot of aid, monetary, as well as time from all of his family. It made it difficult. We shall miss him and pray that he comes back safe in sound, although at boot camp he will live even if it beats some of the pride out of him. :)

It will be interesting to see what kind of James comes out of the whole experience. How was your week off?

Still waiting for a blog on the rest of your vacation, as well as how it's been going back after a week off. Of course, maybe silence speaks louder than words....
