Okay 1st off I have that Allergy Cold like crud. the kind that gives you a sinus headache cause your sinus passages are stuffed full of snot.. (pleasent picture huh) and you have to blow your nose a lot. also the drainage down teh back of my throat gives me a sore throat and a pretty unpleaseant cough. But I will live through it. Some sinus rinse, Oj, and rest.. oh.. rest.. uh... not likely.. but we shall see. Laurana had her 2 month shots today. And she did not enjoy them. She is now 10 lbs 14 oz. She is 23 inches long. She is growing big and strong. She was healthy when the dr. did her check. She laughed and smiled at him. then she laughed and smiled at hte nurse.. until she stuck that needle in her leg. her eyes got huge and she screammed. It took her a while to calm down. I gave her tylonol right before hte shots, (after they weighted her.) well we came home and ate our 4:30 bottle. Then we went to sleep at 6:30 which she doesn't do very often. a busy week followed by a busy weekend. This was our first full week of school. Laurana did okay with sitters all week (mostly Grandma and Grandpa) she wants to be around us when she gets home though. We can't put her down for a nap until she has had a chance t o be in our room with us, or doing something with us in the room. then after her 7:30 bottle she sleeps in her own room with out any complaints. I think she misses us andwants to be around us. This weekend, we went shopping for pants for me, all the stuff we need for her inculding tall bottles, she is taking a few 6 oz bottles a day and we needed tall bottles so we didn't have to feed her four and then pour two more in. then we hit walmart. She rode in her snugli (front carrier) she wouldn't let me put her face out cause she kept turning around to look up at me and getting a creek in her neck. but when I turned her around to face me, she whined til I put hte sides down so she could see. then she watched all the cool ...

This is a picture of her the week we were at chruch with no AC. She was roasting so she sprawled out on Grandma's lab and tried to cool off. Well we are almost through the first full week of school and I think I am doing okay. I don't cry when I drop Laurana off each day and I don't feel sick at work being away from her. I do leave work earlier each day so that I can get back to pick her up. LAst year if I was at school til 4 or 4:30 I didn't care, this year I am out that door before 3:30 each and every day (except when there are staff meetings.) My school classroom is really cool. I have lockers and it is painted a cool color. I will try to take pictures for those that care what my room looks liek. I can't and won't tell you about my students, so please stop asking.. :) all Iwill say is that I have them. and they are 1st grade. as for the baby. This week she spent her first day at Jennifer's. Mom and Dad had to go to a funeral. Pray for Jim, his cousin, wh...

first, I couldn't help the picture it was too funny. Okay when God gives you lemons, or in our case limited options, make lemonaide. We don't have someone for thrusday and friday, so we had to go with the expensive option and find a sitter group that would take her for just two days a week. I will admit this is cheaper than full time, so I can't say how grateful we are to the people who are going to watch her at the beginning of the week. They are truly a blessing and I don't know how I will ever repay them ( and it won't be with cash, cause we ain't go none).. So Clark co decided to change their pay this year. Instead of 24 checks, two a month, they are making it 25 and giving us an extra one at the end of the year. THis is to take care of people starting working two days getting paid for two weeks and quiting, and so that they can start school later in the year. Before we had to start by August 15 cause that was our first check. Now since next year's Aug....

Okay, so here we are in that situation again, where we have to wait trust in God and see what happens. We can't afford daycare at a center or with most babysitters as teh cost they ask a week is more than we can squeeze out of our budget without using our tithe (which ironically would cover it completely). So we are stuck looking for a different way to take care of Laurana. Bonnie is going to watch her until september, but then she has to go back to work as well. So far we have one person who would be willing to watch her one day a week. So we are praying for a couple of differnt options (which ever God has planned or his surprise.) 1. we find a daycare/babysitter we can afford (which would be really cheap). 2. Brad gets a real teaching job (cause then we could cover reagualar daycare) 3. we can find five different people who would watch Laurarna one day a week for free or very little. 4. what ever surprise God has up his sleeve. so please pray with us that something works out. So ...

So this week has been busy and laid back all at the same time. Monday I went to school to move my stuff only to find out that some one had moved it for me.. YEA!!!. Tuesday we played D&D and It was alot of fun. Lee Dale had her baby around 2:30, so that was way cool. She was 8lbs 1 oz and 21 inches long. So she makes Laurana look little. And Grace has a full head of really thick, thick black hair. Everything was good so she stayed until thrusday and went home. Wed- went to visit Lee Dale and Grace, and then went and got Laurana weight. she had gone from 6,9 on Friday to 7.8 on wednesday, so that is wonderful. We are so excited that she gained weight. Aparently bottle feeding breast milk is the best plan for her (with a little formula to supplement it). She is gaining weight, she is sleeping better. Baby girl was just hungry. So now she is getting enough food she is trying to catch back up to where she should be. Thrusday was bunco Brad watched Laurana (david came over to play game...
