Weekly update

Monday: I used labor day to try on every piece of clothing I own and if it was too big I gave it to good will. I probably have 1/3 of my wardrobe left. Brad was a wonder and sat and helped the whole way through.

Tuesday: a fun day at school, must have been a full moon cause they were all wild. I also had my first ARC or special ed meeting which was pretty neat, and frightening. Then a sp. Ed. team meeting that turned into a complaining fest for some and I just sat there and smiled. Then I rushed home ate and went to class. I was worn out and felt like crap.

Wednesday: School, W.W. (+.8) so not great, then home to cook, clean and welcome my whole family for mom's birthday party. It was a lot of fun. Everyone came but Sonya she had class. Brad and I whooped Dad and evan at Rook.

Thursday: a Sp. Ed. meeting at 7:30 in the morning before school, oh the fun. School, then I stayed after, ran after school detention and did grades for mid term.

Friday: school, then home to have the Maucks over for dinner and games.

Saturday: Groceries, lunch, then Brad and I went to hte Eastern, Western game. Easter won for the frist time in many years and the crowd responded by stroming hte feild and tearing down teh goal post. On student ended up being taken away in an ambulance.

Sunday: got up early got dressed for skit, got to church Mickey says.. "Next week" called the person who told us this week she says "No it is supposed to be this week" we go home change go back to church, teach sunday school then take evan home go to Applebees, then home to take a nap. Now I am doing homework. Later we will eat dinner and watch TV.

I must be naïve because I am shocked that kids already have detention and we’re only in September!

REmember I work with Emotional Behavior Disorder Kids.. I am surprised some of them lasted this long

I'm tightening up on my 'apples' which means I've got one missing lunch tomorrow (well, she's eating, but not with the class) and her next step will be a call home and after-school detention. Since it's just Monday, I'm expecting to be making a phone call and not looking forward to it......

Oh, and Tami, everyone says crack down early so you don't have problems later. As a sub, I might have let some behaviors fly for the day...as a teacher, I can't!

Cracking down early makes sense to me, although I do feel sorry for the one who has to eat alone for the rest of the year. That person must have done something awful.

Nah, he jsut can't handle it when he is with others.. he might get back later, right now though ever time he eats with the others he ends up in trouble.

Annevsary's and baby firsts

Okay, let see, our 4th annavsary was this week. We have been married four years. It feels a little longer. I guess we have just packed alot into it and that makes it seem longer. I am really very happy/glad, that I married brad. He has been supportive when I have been flipping out. He takes care of me, and needs me, he is calmed by me when he is flipping out, he has created the cutest little bear with me, we have shared laughs, football games, Musicals, movies, TV shows, books, basketball games, tears, hardship, lack of funs... in short, the better and the worse, the richer and the poorer, the sickness and the health, alaughter and the sorrow, I married a very specail man and I am truly blessed because of it. I can't thank God enough that He saved bard for me. As for First, this week the baby slept all night for the first time. We fed her at 9:00 pm, put her down and she doesn't get up til around 7:30. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Sanity

Okay so this week has been a little wild. Between getting ready for testing at school. Trying to keep students who are ready for summer focused. PMSing, Brad having his huge action research proposal due yesterday and many other little things, I have felt just the slightest bit overwhelmed. I will say that Sanjya finally got voted off American Idol. He couldn't sing, coldn't dance and there and there was really no reason he made it this far above and beyond that people wanted to see what crazy thing he would do each week. Well finally they got it through their heads that he coudln't sing and sent him packing, me and Simon Cowl were thrilled. Please continue to pray for brad, his feet and shins are still bothering him. wE think it is shin splints but we are not sure. He is giving them the 2-4 week rest period that shin splints need and if they don't get better he will go to the dr. as I mentioned above, testing starts next week, here in teh state of Kentucky, and th...
