Good start of the year
We were awake most of new year's eve to new years day with a very fussy baby. she screamed on new years eve when we put her down for a nap, she was just fussy fussy fussy. Then Evan was in a car aceddent on the road back from lancaster, hydroplaned and went into a gaurd rail. mom and dad came over NYeve and said by we dropped him off at the dr. we are leaving for tenn can you take care of him. It was a shock, but somethign we were very happy do do. So we picked him up. waited while mom and dad got a new tire after getting a flat, picked a key up from them. Took Evers to get his meds, to get his car from berea, took it to a collison place. They said more than the car is worth to fix. He is going to look into some other options and see what to do. We took him to lunch them home to sleep. Since we went out to lunch we forwent out year steak dinner nad went to see Sherlock Holms instead. It was much fun, and a good movie. then home for a pleasant evening. I finished the book I need to finish to keep my page count over last years, but only by 49 pages. If I beat it by too much I won't be able to top it this year. :)
Like I said littl ebear was up all that night on and off crying for no real apparent reason. we were reluctant to give her too much tylonol. in the end she woke up the next morning with her first tooth poking through her bottom gum. so now we know why she was so fussy. She has been a peach since, very little fussing and lots of smiles. She has however learned a new sound. a high pitch squeal. It means she is happy, sad, wants something, pretty much what ever she wants attention. we are trying to ignore it and reward other nicer sounds, and she has lessed her use of it, but we shall see.
UK won again today agasint louisville our rival. we had a small party, grandma and grandpa, mike and Evan all came over to watch and cheer.
We are alos considering buying a house. We talked to a lady (in reality) and think if we get hte right house we could pay less than we are paying in rent and it would be an investement rather than jsut throwing money at our landlord. We of course need to do much more research, and look around alot more before any real decisions can be made. for now, we are looking and pondering. Brad feels a peace from God about this which he has not felt in the past so that might be a clear indicator, we jsut don't wnat to rush in to anything.
