So the long and short of it is, that our land lord accedently shut our water off when he was trying to shut off hte neightbors, because the neighbors pipe had busted and was pouring water all over his garage. WE, and the landlord, thought our pipes had frozen, so he kept trying to use a heater on them. When this didn't work he called his guy, yes our land lord has a guy. Who came and within about a min says.."looks like he turned it off by accedent, fixed it and was on his way. This was at 7:00 at night when we hadn't had water since 7:00am. so needless to say that was not a fun sunday. However, UK won against georgia, go us. Okay for those of you trying to keep track, I finished week 15 of my pregnancy today. That means I am feeling much better. I am not as tired, thoug still tired. I am not throwing up much at all, only everyonce in a while. I am also starting to feel a little more firm in the belly showing htat the uteris is growing and moving out of my pelvis and into my abdnomen. So far I am still -3 lbs from where I was when started this whole pregnancy, which the dr. says is good. I go in Tuesday for an ultrasound and they will try and figure out if it is a girl or a boy. This week of school was much fun. We had 0 degree wind chill on Thrusday and made our kids wait for the buss in that, as well as the snow and slippery roads. Then on friday when it hit -15 degree windchills, they canceled the night before. So with MLK day we got a four day weekend, which was really nice. the first week back was fun. The kids were kind of wild but they started to settle as week went on. I only got one new student and primary is at cap now so I shouldn't be able to get a new one unless I lose one. As for me, I was exhausted all week, and continued to throw up ever morning. However, satruday and sunday were sickness free so that is great. All this week in the evening, I came home ate, sat at my computer for a little while then went to bed, watch TV and slept. I did not do alot, I just found it hard to find the energy. According to my Pregnancy stuff, I should start feeling better this week, which should help, i should have to sleep quite as much. Satruday- We lounged most of hte day, did a little grocery shopping. However our Pastor preached Sunday about taking a Sabbith even if it isn't Sunday. Okay the whole year wasn't dark, but much like hte Dark Ages, the downs seemed to out weight the ups and there for this year turned into what we at the gullett house are going to call the dark year. This leaves 2009 to be the Renessance year, the year of re-birth and renewal. I know that you are suppose to gain an average of 8 lbs between Thanksgiving and christmas. (okay not suppose to but hte avereage amereican does). Between the stomach Flu, teh Cold with sinus infecton, and the fact that I am preganant and have a small ga'ould like parisiste sucking calories from me. I have in fact lost 8 lbs in the last two months. This is very weird. It is like going backward. The Dr. didn't seem worried at my last appointment that I lost weight, he was more worried about my never ending cold. (okay I have had it like a week and they can last 7 to 14 days) but It feels like I have had it forever. Brad is also sick, so we have been held up in our apartment like TB patients. James did visit with his wife Jasmine (whole other story) Which was okay. James hasn't changed much by being married. Okay this blog was going to be about how horrible it was to be sick on break, Which it is. But on further reflection I realized that this makes it so that I can just lay around and rest and not have to stress about getting up every monring and go to school feeling like this. SO in the long wrong, being sick on break is no fun, but being sick and working is worse. yeah for that blessing. I did get to hear the baby's heart beat on Tuesday. that was a relief, and the dr. said I could take Tylonal Cold and Cough syrup, which has been a life saver as the robutussin was not helping me at all and I wasn't sleeping. Brad's grandmother gave us some baskets for the nursery and for the frist time since I got pregnant this time, brad and I are both a little excited about gettig that ready for our new little one. We go in for a paranatal oppointment with a specialist who will look for things a regular Obgy won't and we get an early ultrasound from them, so we might find out ht...

So Brad and I went to Lexington yesterday to visit DAvid in the Hospital. We drove over there, parked the car in the new parking garage.. then I locked our keys in the car. THat is right, set them on the seat so I could get my coat on and locked htem right in. I could see them, but there was no way to get to them. So we went to ask security if htey could get us in, cause all girls know that if you lock yourself out at a mall the mall security can usually get up back in. Well Hospital security is not as savy. they gave us in stead a number for a guy that wanted to charge 45 $ to drive acriss the street and open our door. when we declined security offered a "coat hanger". since we didn't want to tear up our car, we went up stairs to tthink abou ti some more... last night was our last volleyball game of the season, and my last game til next fall. I am kind of sad I love playing volleyball, but I won't be able to play in the winter (jan) leauge this time round. so Sad there. We lost most of our games this time round but we are getting better. the girls are improving and hte guys, when they are not playing over us and not trusting us, are all excellent anyway, so I think with the addition of Judith in my place in Jan (she was out on Materinty leave this fall) we stand a chance to make some improvements. Yesterday around 1:00pm we got a text from Brittany saying they had gone to the hospital to wait and see if David was a mathc for a thrid time. After two times of being sent home they were not hopeful. brad howerver was. He said we need to take our groceries home cause we were going to the hospital that night. Sure enough around 7:00pm Brittany called to tell us that David was a match and was going into surgery. We finished watching the UK game (cause brad knew someone at hte hospital would tell him teh score and that is something he hates) then we drove up there. AT 12:00 they called the waiting room to tell us all that David's new kidnney had turned pink and that so far his body was accepting it and blood was flowing through it. SO on top of the usual, pray for my prengancy that it goes better than last time, and pray for brad's astma and allergies.. I have a few more that really need prayer right now. 1st. - My grandmother fell and broke her ankle. She is wheel chair bound, in a house not set up for a wheel chair, (stairs to get into the house) and none of use can get down there to help her right now. Brad and I have been sick and she can' get what we have, also we can't get out of work, and neither can joel or evan. SO please pray for her. She is tough and will do her best to take care of her, but we all wish we could help make this a little easier on her. 2nd- David, brad's best friend, went in for a 3rd try at a kidnney today. Please pray that he gets this one.

Okay, I jsut wrote a beautiful post about how sick I am.. and then accidently deleated it.. so this is what you get. Ache, pain, throwing up for 15 min stretches while at school, Home, dr. called. Meds, Stomach Flu, rest, fluids, everyone is good with it.

At 1:25 in the morning, I hear a loud crash from my bathroom. I get up to go check on my husband and find that he has emptyed the garbage can so that he can puke into it. After an hour I get him to get back in bed, only for him to throw up twice, then take a shower and come back to bed. the rest of the night passes like this, brad thows up, takes a shower comes to bed for a little whle.. repeat. I was up with him as much as possible, but he also let me sleep as I had to get up and cook thanksgiving turkey for eveyrone. Morning comes, I go and start the turkey, (which looks horrible to the pregnant lady) after a few hours of basting, brad comes down for alittle while. The turkey is looking good to me. That is right folks at this point, we shall call it peanut, because that is all it is. A peanut with a heart beat. Of course right now everything looks fine. but then it is hard to see if their would be a problem when it doesn't have arms or legs yet. Just a heart beat, which it did have, which made me cry. Both brad and I are more excited about peanut now that we have see it and seen the heart beat. it is understandable of course that we are a little trepidatious going into this pregnancy and that fear is a very real emotion. We also however are very happy to see that all is starting out well. I still feel nauous, but it is something i can live with. THe dr, said not to take any meds that I don't have to... so for all you who suggessted stuff for the nausia, oh well, I will just have to bear. My day off that could have been better. So I stayed home today, because I have been feeling really badly. Very, very, very strong morning sickness this time around. and this was the first day where I didn't have something I had to stay for after school, or a training, or a meeting to go to .. so I decided I was going to get some sleep. My one job was to run to the post office and pick up a package for brad. I stayed in bed until 10:30 got up had lunch then decided to go and get hte pcackage.. threw on a sweatshirt some pants and a coat as it is cold and get in the jeep. Get there get the package.. all is good... then I get back in the jeep and it won't start. Usually you jiggle the gear shift and it will start. 20 tries later it still won't start. I call brad.. I am still calm. He caan't help cause he is at work, but he is supportive. I call joel, no answer, call several other people (all ones who aren't sick, or have kids that they would have ot load in the...

So it is a good sign that I have been nausous since satruday morning. but it is a bad feeling. Except for when I am sleeping, and the ten minutes after I eat, I feel sick to my stomach the rest of the time. It is not a pleasant feeling. I don't remember having this much morning sickness last time, but man it is like it never lets up. But my mother says she heard mornig sickness means a healthy baby, so I guess I just have to suck it up and deal. On other news my class size has changed again. It went from 14 to 16 to 20 then up to 22, and it has now dropped back to 19.. all of this in about 4 weeks. That is pretty impressive. It is becauseI have hte over cap class and they move alot. Oh well. thems the breaks.

sunday- WOke up high, was going to take a pregnancy test, but I messed it up. It got bubbles in it and I couldn't get a readign..Crash down to low. Then went to church, then to a women's coffee back up on high. Came home and lesson planed.. back down. Monday- got up took a pregnancy test.. high. So during break Brad put forth the opinion that we should start weight training with our walking. THe theory is that lifting weights, toning muscle and what not will help us loose more weight that walking alone is doing (since that is only marginaly effective.) so we added that during break, and then went back to school. It is wild. Now our schudeule has to include an hour to 50 minutes in the gym everyday but friday. SO lets see if I can recap Monday- Work, Get off work, pick up brad, drive to gym, work out for an hour, go to subway, then drive home and meet the guys for Starwars. which included an impromptu debate about the exsistance of God with our one skeptical, non christian memember, which lasted for almsot two hours. It was needed, but it was long, and DAvid and I had to stay out of it, cause if more than one person starts putting in their opinion then the guy feels threatened and shuts down all the way. Okay I started Monday with 16 students. And ended today, the next day, with 20. that is right I got four new students in 2 days. I actually got three of them yesterday and only one today. It was insane. Jsut about the time I got a desk, chair, and books for one, they would call and tell me they are bringing another one to my room. needless to say I am feeling a bit overwhelmed today. Which will pass once I get them settled in and use to the classrules.

All right, It is now fall break, so I will have time to blog. I think. I have already put a bunch of stuff into the week so that maybe hard. but Here is an update. My Back is fine. I played Volleyball on Tuesday, no problems. It is back ot the way it was. so no worries there. On Friday, which was Data day at our school I was trying to get up from the lunch tables, which are not built for big, tall girls lke me, and dislocated my knee. It went right back in but is swollen and sore, and will be for a few days. This has happened in the past and I knowthat It will go away, it is just annoying. Yesterday we faced the past, and went to the "Walk to Remember" sponsered by the hospital, and the cemetary where Hope is burried. This is the first time we have been back there since the funeral. THere was alot of crying, on both our parts. They played some nice songs, read some poetry. Then we all walked to where the Babies are buried. Then we listen to some harp music which was nice. The...
