JAreth So far he is doing great. he continues to grow, and is working on getting on a schedule. He still doesn't sleep through the night but that is okay. He feeds at 12:00 then is up around 4:00-6:00 ( I say around but he is up for two hours no matter what i do wide awake.) then he sleeps til 8:30.. that is when his day starts. He still has red hair, and his eyes are still that grey color. WE have noticed that he eats way better than laurana did but she slept way bettr than he does. Also she drooled when she ate, he spits up alot and some times at a distance of about 4-5 inches. Laurana She loves her baby brother. She wants to "get him" out of bed for mommy, and often we have to find nice but safe ways for her to help. Ironically even after she "pats" his head harder than mommy likes he looks for her if she walks away and cries if she leaves while playing with him. She is growing more vocal everyday. hates when people make me feel inept. thanks to the dr. I feel bad about things I know were going well. Jareth is eating like laurana never did and then the dr and now I have added a bottkle and he is not eating as well. well to can play that game. I have taken most f the bottles back away and he is eating better. I also am not going back to see the ped on tuesday, I am goiubg to wait until friday to give him tome to gain a little weight and to be get adjusted. so poop on them, giving me doubt. stinking drs they just want extra co=pays anyway.

So we went in yesterday to get Jareth's weight and do his 2 week check up. He weighted 7.3 which is not up to his 7.11 birthweight. We went in prepared that they might tell us to supplement his breastfeeding with the occasonal bottle (like we had to do with Laurana) however he also has taken to breast feeding way better than Laurana ever did. He is latching on nursing for 20 minutes a side and Ican feel the difference before and after he nurses. it feels like the breast is beng emptied. so then teh dr. walked in. " there must be a disconnect" she looked at me like I was crazy when I said he was nursing, told me that he must not really be nursing right. Told us to go see a lactation consultant, to start giving him formula cause "you might not really be producing how much milk you think" asked me if I had been drinking water and eating (like I was starving myself) then said I needed to rest and asked if I was getting any. Daddy's in my life. are wonderful I am married to a man who is an excellent father. he plays with laurana makes sure she is as safe as well. he is proud of his son, and teaches her every chance he gets. My own father was a strong hard worker who loved me and although he use to eat all the cheese thought only of keeping me safe and helping me grow remember "it is not that he doesn't trust me it is that he doesn't trust every other man out here." I remeber my grandfather's with joy. I still have a penny bracelet from Papa and know some of my best songs from Grandpa.

Jareth was born yesterday he came out looking great, but then started to have some trouble breathing. they did a chest x-ray and his lungs are slightly underdeveloped even though the amnio said they were mature. so they moved him to the NICU where he is getting c-pat oxygen and something else that boost lung growth. he was moved down from 4 to 3 today, which is a good sign that he is reacting well to what htey are doing, and he was sleeping nad breathing better when I went down to see him this morning. He was 7 labs 11 oz, and 19 1/2 inches long. he had a head full of redish hair. so hopefully that stays, casue a red headed little boy would be cute. ;) not that he wouldn't be cute with brown hair. I had a rough time yesterday with not eating, waiting a really long time and then Jareth going to teh NICU however with a little more sleep and time to pray I am doing much better.

So laurana's party turned out completely different from what I planned but in the end she seemed to have alot of fun, and her friends seemed to enjoy it. and she is 2 right.. I mean she won't rememeber any of this. .

So jareth is trying to stress mommy out. he has been head down for months now, with his strong little legs just kicking the snot out of my ribs, stomach, and other organs. Friday after a strong kick fest right before nap he decided he didn't like the view so.. he flipped completely to breech. this put his head where all the kicks had been and moved his kicks deep down inside where they didn't feel as strong. Going off my past history, when his movement changed and seemed to lesson and get alot weaker, I started to freak. Friday night I drank a whole soda quick and he moved in response so I convined myself he was fine. Oh my stomach dropped and I had a sereise of contractions that made my stomach feel much tighter and hard (also a dampens movement). So I went to cards, stayed out way to late, came home and.. didn't sleep much all night. cause I kept worrying about Jareth and his sudden drop in movement. so Saturday morning I couldn't take it iany more. So yesterday was the last day with the kids. It was wild it was crazy but everyone made it. They were right there was no way I could have been out for any reason this week and it have not been a disaster. On the plus side they know they need me. AS far as my posistion for next year, it is in the hands of the funding (director of Sp. Ed.) if the funding is there I get the job, if the job is not there I have no where to go back to. on the plus side they still need a BD teacher and if any one else leaves that would let me slide in, and the prinicpal is going to make every effort to keep me cause I do my job well and lets face it who else really wants to do my job :) on the baby front, I have reached the point whereI am very swollen by the end of every school day. it goes down by the next morning. so summer being here shoudl help me keep that in more control. He kicks me hard, I go to the dr. 2 times a week, ultra sound once a week, and NST both times. they are still talking about doing an...

Dancing baby

So I thought today was going to be just a lazy kind of day, until I got up this morning. 1st: had to rebudget cause my student loans came due. that was full of tears and crying as it just doesn't seem like there was enough to go around, we did find it though although again other things had to give. Got rid of cable again this year. basketball is over so cable said bye-bye. 2nd: after much nahsing of teeth over the budget and paying bills Student loan is messed up on line and demanding 2x was they said we owned. so we have to wait and call them and sort it all out on monday. 3rd: brad went to cook breakfast and there was some oil/grease in the drip pan from the stove from where I made fried chicken last night. WELL it didn't all get cleaned out and suddnly brad is yelling "fire, Fire!!" sure enough flames are leaping up from the burner about 2 feet in the air. Brad tells laurana to go to her room, while i fish the baking soda out of the fridge and put the fire out. Af...

So I really should post more often. Lets see. Big news Laurana has moved from her crib into a big girl bed or a "bug gurl bed" if you ask her. We got her a new bed spread with Tinkerbell who she calls "princess" and new mat, one of those foamy things for her floor. She was thrilled. the frist night she came out 4 or 5 times and it took 45 minutes to get her to stay in bed. the second night was 17 minutes, 3rd nigh was down to 10 and the last few nights she has gone down with out getting back out. Of course she doesn't stay down as well for naps. but she is sitll taking a nap, which is good cause mommy needs that break. We are trying to prepare for the addition of baby Jareth to the family. Get the crib ready, try to get some baby boy clothes. and prepare Laurana for not being the center of the world. the frist things are going well. So she needs about 3.5 months to really be a two year old.. however her new favorite phrases are... "I get it..." "I do it..." and "Laurana's Turn" I think we might want to just call her in the twos and be done with it. mommy has worked really hard to teacher her.. "mommy, help" or who ever else needs to help. Cause there ahve been a lot of things that she has told me "I do it." but can't really do by herself. thus "mommy help" I have to say she is talking more and more each day. in full sentences. right now she has also taken up the phrase. "funny girl" "I sorry" she tells us "green light" and "red light" to which she holds up her hands and crys out "stop" Her favorite foods are bagels and yogurt. she eats an adult size yogurt in seconds. she is starting to label colors although she still doesn't get them right all the time. she does however know a circle, star, he...
