there are four days of testing, 14 days of teaching, one portfolio day, and closing day left. This year seems to have gone on forever. hopefully this week will be better than last week, but you never know. this is the last week of classes at Eastern, so Brad is good and stressed but when things are over we shall have a wonderful june in which we have nothing planned. Well i am off, the shower calls and I have a long list of things to get done today.

Okay, so I have decided, that softball is not what I am good at. I have tried, I keep running and I keep trying to catch, but while I can catch a ball thrown to me, a high flying or grounder seems to jsut slip right past. Brad is good, but I am not. I don't mind being catcher. I don't get as bored as when I am in the outfield and in this league the catcher stands off to the side and picks up the ball after it stops rolling, it is not a hard job. I might try it again, if they let me. Oh well we shall see. but pray for me Cause I look like a goof on the softball feild. and I did so well at Volley ball that this makes me feel clumsy. Ps. The picture is suppose to change.. to say.. Missed Fly Ball: priceless... but it doesn't seem to be working right.

Okay so this week has been a little wild. Between getting ready for testing at school. Trying to keep students who are ready for summer focused. PMSing, Brad having his huge action research proposal due yesterday and many other little things, I have felt just the slightest bit overwhelmed. I will say that Sanjya finally got voted off American Idol. He couldn't sing, coldn't dance and there and there was really no reason he made it this far above and beyond that people wanted to see what crazy thing he would do each week. Well finally they got it through their heads that he coudln't sing and sent him packing, me and Simon Cowl were thrilled. Please continue to pray for brad, his feet and shins are still bothering him. wE think it is shin splints but we are not sure. He is giving them the 2-4 week rest period that shin splints need and if they don't get better he will go to the dr. as I mentioned above, testing starts next week, here in teh state of Kentucky, and th...

Okay, so first off I am not sure if I spelled Atticus, Atickas, right. I didn't pick it. Actually I had to ask Brad how to spell it which is pretty said. I apologize to chuck And Dora for most likly slaughtering the spelling, but no one ever said I could spell. So Chuck called us monday night to tell us that he and Dora had welcomed little Noah into the world. They went in for an check up and the Dr. said, he is breech we need to do this now.. and they did. One C-section and a couple hours later the bouncing 6lbs 15 oz, 20 inch little boy was here. Brad and I went to see him Tuesday night. As you can see from the pictures I am working on brad. Getting him ready to hold babies and not be quite so scared they will break if he breathes wrong.

So it is Easter, the jewish holiday of passover, lent, all things that if I were jewish would require I not eat unclean Pork, or ham, and partake in something like Lamb. Which I serve every year for Easter. I have my extended family coming over for Easter lunch tomorrow, and no Lamb.. so brad and I are headed to lexington today to try and find some Lamb for dinner

SO that is what I am doing this week. Nothing. Actually I am going to write a introduction to a master's research paper, but that is it. And I might clean the bathroom, but nothing more. Oh and I think I am going to try to work out once or twice a day all week, but that is it. In actuallity, I have been working out, cleaning, playing Civ III with brad, watching movies, reading and genreally doing nothing. It has been great I watched that movie, one night with the King. It was really quite good. They took a little liberty but on the general whole it was very close to the original, being the bible and Esther. I thought it was very well acted and if the King had had eyebrows it would have been perfect. Anyway it would go on my recomended list.

Okay so I know it has been for ever since I blogged, but given the chance I bet i could come up with a few good excuses. I will however fall back on the tried and true. I was too busy. Actually our internet has been up and down for weeks. We couldn't figure out how to get it to work right, the cable company on the phone said it was all our fault, but there didn't seem to be anythign wrong with our equipment it was all working just like it was supposed to. so Brad finally got hte cable guy out here yesterday. It seems the problem was that they upgraded and we, not knowing, didn't. A few drivers and an upgraded modom later adn we are back on line full force. I did lose my calender earlier this week, and paniced. I didn't know when I was supposed to do anything. That is a hard way to live, I felt like I was in limbo. Next week is spring break. I shall renergize and be ready for the great challenge of testing which is shortly after we get back.

WE DID IT. Our volleyball team found our groove, found the moves and came back to place second in the spring league. (Note we placed second in the Fall as well.) the big difference is the undefeated United Methedist played this spring. But in the last match of the season we actually beat them one game. (which no one else did all season). We played with them and proved our salt. We had to find our confidence and not be scared of the bruise giving spikes and we rallied back from a 7 point deficit to win the second game. We lost hte thrid, but still took second place in the tournement. YEA for us. SHout out to my team Me, Brad Aaron, Will Judith, Bobby Jessica

Okay so there are some things I don't get living here in Kentucy. I have figured out that UK winning its first round game in teh NCAA is big, and there for everyone will be busy sunday watching the next game. I think I get why so many people filled out their brackets all the way through with Kentucky winning even though they suck this year. Loyaltiy is big. However, Our county high school made it to the sweet sixteen for state.. and we get a day off school so we can go watch it. With the five snow days we have had, it doesn't make much sense that we get another day off, but hey I have college homework to do and it will be a good day to get it done. So I have next thrusday off which will be way fun. AS for life, I am sick and that is making me cranky and emotional. Brad is trying to watch the Tournment, the most wonderful time of the year, and my being sick is making it hard. I cried last night cause of picking where we went to eat. I think the best plan for me to day is...

After stay up really late last night having a great debate with my hubby I feel more like I use to be. I am not stressed and feel like a good day ahead of me. We are going to relax, watch some TV and enjoy each other's time.

In the vein of Dilly and working out. I have started working out again. I went monday while brad was in class. THen Tuesday we played two very hard volleyball games. THey were alot of fun. We won the first one and got out butts handed to us in the second. It was quite impressive. anyway. Then last night Brad wanted to know if we were going to go workout, but I could not make myself do it, I was exhaused and every muscle and joint in my body hurts from the diving, jumping sprinting and collisions experences in the game. I also have a bruised cheek, not a black eye, but I took a kick board in teh face on Friday and a ball in the face Tuesday so it kinds of hurts to smile. It has been a stressful week at work, Can't tell you why, but things turned out well and I am less stressed today.

I know it has been a while since I posted. Life around her has been a little hectic. But things are settling down. I finished taking my last praxis so as long as I pass all my classes this semester I will be finished. I will be ready to start next year it a Rank II and a pay increase, which will be very nice. Well I think I am going to go enjoy my evening and then watch American Idol followed by a new show called Wedding Bells. Then I will sleep and start the whole next day over agian. Continue to pray for my attitued it is hard to be up when everyone seems so down.

Okay pray for me. I have noticed that when people get negative I just go right along with them, ususally thinking of at least two or more things that they could be negative about. I have felt that God is telling me to try and be a positive light. There is a place that this is particually important right now, but it is very hard. When I start talking with the people there the get negative before two words are out of anyone's mouth. I really think that continued negativity is not going to make anything better, and rats desserting a ship also never saved the ship, so please pray that God will give me the strength to not focus on the negative but rejoice in him and the positive.

Our friends from S.S. Jennifer and Brad just had their baby on thrusday. Taylor Bradley was 8 lbs, 11, oz. 20.5 inches long. On thrusday when they called every thing looked great. Then they called me last night to say that he had been transfered to the NICU at UK hospital. THe doctors said they think it is the heart, but they really didn't know much. So please keep them in your prayers. As the picture shows we are all praying

So this weekend was interesting. On Friday night we had our S.S. Valentines party. Brad and I won the newly wed game. Which was alot of fun. We ate lots of mexican food and I tricked brad into holding someone's baby for quite some time. Saturday, we shopped had a SS. leader's meeting to discuss what direction we want the class to go in the up coming months, then got to gethether with David and the guys to play. David's grandmother died earlier this week so that was sad. She has been sick for a while but it is still hard to lose someone you love. There was so much snow Saturday that it was near impossible to get out of our driveway and the roads were horrid, parts of town lost electriscity.. We didn't lose ours praise the lord. Sunday We went to SS. Church, Lunch, sex, the wake, then both went to Winchester to hang out with Tiffy while brad played with the guys.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY God blessed Brad and I with a snow day for V'day. We have the time to have breakfast in Bed, and just relax together rather than me rush home from a busy day and cook dinner. As you can see from the red on the Map, all the counties in my area of Kentucky were closed for snow. The ones to the west aren't listed on our website so I don't know about htem.. but everyone got the day off. I have attached a picture of Evan and his girl friend Sarah. (notice both of my brothers are dating a sarah, and joel married a sonya. that is not confusing at all.) This was taken when they went to the presendents ball at EKU. They look so cute together.

Well James graduated from Basic. His lovely Girlfriend, Fiancee went down to see him. We have recieved one picture, which I included. James gave me two calls in the first one, he answered about three questions that I asked, didn't sound at all happy to hear me, complained about Joel and Evan not sending him something soon enough and asked me about how he could get to his money on a satruday when he doesn't have his new bank card. When I sat down and figured it out gave him the information and he hung up. About twenty minutes later he called to ask for mom and Dad's phone number. Which I didn't have on hand. He decided to call Nanny and get it. It was a little discouraging. I feel bad. Every time James calls me now it is because he wants or needs something. I kind of feel the same way about Joel lately as well. He invited Evan out to lunch the other day, never even called me. The only way I kow what is going on with him is what I hear through Evan. So God knows what we need. I was worried about how to get to my dentist or how to take a sick day I didn't want to waste to take care of this tooth issue. But this morning Iwoke up to Brad telling me that there is another snow day. I can go see the dentist and not worry about missimg school.

As many of you know, starting last friday night I had a really bad tooth ache. The gum around it swelled up and was tender to the touch. Which in turn made my jaw ache and eventually made it hard to swollow. Today, almost a week later I could not take it any more. I went by the dentist after school to see if I could see someone. They were ready to close, but the dentist took a quick look told me that with the swelling she couldn't even get to the tooth that was in question so she gave me an antibiodic, she thinks it is an infection to get the swelling to go down, and then for the pain which has been constant for a week, she gave me Loratab. This is my frist try with these, but since I took it fifteen minutes ago I have already noticed the pain going away. I also feel a little .... loopy but hey that may just be the absence of pain. I have an appointment to go back Monday and have her look at the tooth and see what the problem is, I am afrad as it is centered around the only side wa...

Let me tell you about my week. Since it has been pretty hecktic. As you noticed last weekend was not great. I had a rough time. Then Monday started spirt week at school. Mix up day. I dressed to kill, it was great, nothing on me matched. Brad had class Then Tuesday was twins day. All of the teachers on our team dressed up like the very pregnant Mrs. Antiniou. It was alot of fun. Tuesday night was volleyball we played the reigning 6 year champs. We got beat. It was pretty bad, but we all felt pretty good about the way we played together so that was an imporovement on last season when there was alot of yelling. Wednesday I got a snow day which as you have read I very much needed. I went to choir that night. I also got a lot of cleanning done I didn't think I would ever find time for. Thrusday was Blue day at school. No picture cause it was very boring. After school I rushed home so brad could make it to class oon time. Then I went over and cooked cookies with teh girls at Ellen...
