So Brad went to see an Allergy and Asthma doctor today. The doctor was shocked Brad plays Volley ball. Apparently he is only breathing at 55 % lung capacity. This is not good. So the dr. said with some medication and allergy shots he can get up to 100% in which case he will be living a much happier more active life. The list of things he is allergic to is really long, but not surpising. So he is getting more medicince and hopefull he won't have as many problems when we go to people's houses for parties and stuff. We shall see.

If you just logged on besure to check out thanksgiving day. I posted both of these about the same time so I wouldn't want you to miss one. THe day after has been a lazy day filled only with decorating for christmas. I love christmas, and not for the presents but the decorations. We have the same tree brad had as a kid. his parents gave it to us for our wedding. I had all blue and silver decoratiosn before I met brad and he is thrilled with them as they are UK colors and that makes the perfect. We bought him a UK stocking last year and he says it fits right in. Of course now that I have all my decoratiosn up I want to have a party. yes that tiny thing below the light is our nativity scene. IT is the same one I got when I went to college 10 years ago. I acatually broke the one shepherd so it is not complete but it will suffice until we come up with something better in teh years to come. Okay so we awoke bright and early. I had to have the turkey in the oven by 8 so we could eat around 2. So I got up, made stuffing, stuffed, buttered and rubbed the turkey down with honey and started it on its 15 minute baseting regime. It was fun. THen Brad helped me clean so that when family came over it would be nice and neat. Of course I didn't clean up stairs and then they all went upstairs to talk on line with my parents and I was a little embarssred but it was fun. We had Joel and his new wife Sonya over. Evan came as well since he hasn't been dating his girl long enough to go to her house for the holiday. THen we had a freind Tetcha from Zimbabwe who has come over for several thanksgivings and came again this year. It was fun and there was lots of food. This is the first year I let someone else cook and bring any of the food, and despite worry on my half it was all great and I won't worry next year. I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving and say that I definatly have things to be thankful for this year. I have a wonderful husband who loves me. A family that cares, a friends I can't wait to spend time with, an apartment I love coming home to, a job that..pays and is better than my last job by leaps and bounds, a sunday school class I love, choir, a chance to sing, and so many more things. Well I have to go baste the turkey and then start prepareing for guest.

FREE. FREE, I am FREE At LAST. Well we got out of school for thanksgiving break today. a two day week with kids like mine is well.. not a joy, but at least it is over.

Well we had bunco last night and it was alot of fun. For some reason we were all very giddy, except amber who was exhaused. We laughed alot, told alot of off color stories. And if you really want to know, flannel sheets, with there static, cause alot of matting and tangling of hair during.. certian activites where you might rub you head on the pillow alot. It was a word of warning which made everyone laugh, and a few people turn red. I have concluded that I am the sex weirdo in our bunco group. You know the one girl who likes sex, has it alot, and really isn't ashamed to talk about it. Hey I can take it. I have a wonderful husband who has given me permission to talk about it and hey gives me lots to talk about. :) Well I am off to a Pedicure party with the girls from Sunday school. I am looking forward to it. It was a long week at school, I had an observation and last weekend being homecoming I feel like I have been going for two weeks straight, which makes me feel more worn than a...

Okay interesting tidbits.. as I really can't recall everything to happen to list it all. I am stressed and worn by my job and looking forward to thanksgiving break. My job is actually going really well for working with Behavior disorders, but with homecoming last weekend, I haven't had a chance to stop and catch my breath and that makes it hard to feel up for it.. I jsut feel worn. and my kids have been wearing on my last nerve the last few days and I am pretty sure that is because I am tired. I have finally lost all the weight I gained at the conference.. so that is great. one weekend ot gain it, two weeks to lose it, doesn't really seem fair does it. Brad has had three matches this week. He is also sick and that means that we are both even more tired because we don't get to see each other or really relax. He is at a match right now and won't be home for over an hour. I miss him. Moving on. Life is good if not very busy and tirering.. but hey you can get over that....

I want to apologize. I have not been bloging alot lately. Things have been very hectic around here and when I do get a moment free I like to take the time to enjoy the moment, not sit myself infront of a computer and type. Anyway... I have lost most of the weight I gained from the Retreat, Brad and I only have one car, as his died the other day and we are not going to put the effort into fixing it at this point. other than that life goes on. See some of you this weekend for Home coming.. notes and pictures to follow.

Gretchen is one of my best freinds from college. On Sunday a freind of ours who lives near her called to say that Greta's mother had fallen and was in a coma please pray. Gretchen flew home on Monday. Her mother had apparently suffered some kind of stroke or seizure. She was unconsious before she hit her head on teh concrete floor where she recieved two skull fractures. When they ran test on Monday they found that she was completely Brain dead and a painful decision was made. Gretchen has been through a lot this year. Earlier this year her husband of several years ask for a divorce. It turns out he was cheating on her. They got a divorce the day before their anniversary. SHe is with family but will return to her own home on Thrusday. She is tired and worn. Please continue to pray for her. She is going to need our love and support to get through these trying times. Festival of Marriage: The theme of the weekend was Being to busy. When your life becomes so busy that you don't have time to live it any more only run to try and make it through alive. So before we even left, Brad and I had a tift. We got a late start and Brad needed to go to wal-mart, and that was going to make us late.. and you all know how much I like to be late. So we tiffed.. went to EW JAmes which we didn't know would be open that early and ended up being the first ones there. So we both felt bad. We left the church at 7:00 Am. Drove an hour, stopped and fixed the window on the bus that was coming out. Then drove another hour, stopped at OutDoor World to use the restroom and let the men enjoy a chance to look at manly things before a weekned of touchy-feely girly stuff. Then drove another hour, stopped for lunch at Taco bell. (driving through the mts. in a bus makes you quessy. It was not fun) we played Catch Phrase on the Bus to distract everyone form the road. Okay last week Monday: School(4:00), Class, Tudesday: School(5:00) at the teachers meeting they told us that me and my math teacher and one other had been chosen to do a new math program along with the one we are doing now (Carnagie Math) basically it is more work and we have to try and get whole class computer time three days a week.. that should be esay, NOT, Class, Volleyball (Won 2-0) Wednesday: School (4:00), WW (+.6) so that is not going well, Dinner, church choir. Thrusday: school (until 5:30), Home for dinner, then back out to drop off Key for my parents with Evan, Air mattress with SOnya and Joel, who got a cat, so brad can no longer go to their hosue. Which means Thanksgiving will defintaly be at our house this year. Then home to do more landry, watch Survivor, and then pack for the Festival of marriage. Friday- Sunday: The Festival of marriage. The next Blog will be all about that. :)

Okay I am really behind, so it might take a while to catch up, but I will attempt it. The week off. Monday: Dropped James off at the Army. Then we went and played games with Brittany and David for more hours than we planned. Tuesday: We did nothing all day, then played Volleyball at night and then I went to bunco. Wednesday: Went to Lexington for some shopping, then had dinner out and went home and vegged somemore Thrusday: we did nothing worth noting all day long. Firday: Nothing in the morning, then went to Play a role play game at Davids and we were there until 4 in the morning. Saturday: recovered from teh night before. Sunday: church, then brad went to games, I went to brad's aunt baby shower, then we met at the church picnic with his parents then home for relaxings.

So my brother James left for the Army on Monday. Brad and I picked him up and dropped him off at the Recruiting office from which he was leaving. It was a sad fairwell. He was trying to be manly though he appeared scared to death. He also tried to show that he didn't need good byes, but was happy we were there. This departure was hard, because in the weeks leading up to his leaving James has had.. trials. He has needed alot of aid, monetary, as well as time from all of his family. It made it difficult. We shall miss him and pray that he comes back safe in sound, although at boot camp he will live even if it beats some of the pride out of him. :)

So I missed last week and totally forgot to blog. You may flog me later. Monday: School, Then I skiped night class to spend time with my mom. We went and bought her some new shoes (she bought me some too) and then we went to Starbucks drank Spiced Pumpkin lattes and talked for a long time. Tueday: School, A meeting after school at a differnt school for some new math stuff. They actually sat there and explained to us how to use the program we had already been using. SO a very big waste of time except that I got an hour of PD credit for it so that is good. THen I drove to subway, ate and then went to class took my test. Went to Volleyball. I can only play when class is before it or after it so not every week but I do love it. Wednesday: school, after school detention, WW (+1) so not great, then Brad and I went to the Indian Resturant. Okay, this week I have been thinking about my married life. (At this point several of you gaged and stopped reading.) SO it has been a year. If you had asked me two years ago if I would be married this year I wouldn't have believed it, but now I am and sometimes it still surpises me. Not only did I find someone who actually wanted to marry ME, but some one I wanted to marry as well. You got to admit the odds of that were not that good. :) Anyway I came home yesterday and the bed was made the dishes done, and my wonderful husband and I sat down to watch our Wed. night TV and it really made me think about how Blessed I am. I could go on and on, but then most of you would just tune me out so I will stop. I jsut wanted to mention it today as it is our first anniversary this year. One down 74 to go!!!

Monday: School, dinner, Test in class. And this is one of those professors who likes to give nice 100 question multiple chioce test, but hey I pulled an A so I will take it. Tuesday: School, Meeting, Class Wednesday: School, Missed WW cause it was so hectic, then went home and went to bed, I had a sore throat and didn't feel up to singing. Nanny went into the hospital with hemoraging and is not doing great. Thrusday: school then home to an empty house, brad was away at a conference and it was very scary and sad. I was really sick by then too, I had a fever and went to bed about 6 brad called at 8 and I talked to him for a minute then went back to sleep. Friday: only made it through half the day. I had a fever still and after an important meeting, I went home and went to bed. I didn't get up til brad got home around 8 that evening. Saturday was a Chick holiday special. James moved out of his apartment, mom came to town, James needed money, Just general running and crazyness. We ...

Well it is half way through the week and things are looking good and hectic. I won't make wW today cause I have a retiremnt thing at school I am not supposed to miss. We had testing yesterday and that pretty much wore me thin right then. Now I am trying to catch up. But my patience is shot. There is also a field trip coming up and I will be the one staying behind with the kids who can't go so that should be interesting, hopefully most of them won't show up.

Monday: School, dinner, class Tuesday: School, Meeting, detention, dinner in class Wednesday: school, WW (-2), dinner with parents, choir Thursday: School, after school meetings, home, dinner, Survivor Friday: School, home, pick up brothers, drive to Lexington, dinner, then we went to the book store to see Terry Brooks talk about his new book. It was really neat. Then when we were getting our books signed he asked me how I pronouced my name, then set the postit off by itself and said "well you never know where that will turn up." I thought that was pretty cool. Saturday: we went to the Ohio Ren festival and I spent all the money I made making quills this summer it was alot fun. We took Brittany and David our new couple freinds from church. They are firends that Brad and I made together, not ones we pulled it from his or my side when we got married. Okay lets see. Monday: School, dinner, class. None eventful Tuesday: School, faculty meeting, then I was the guest speaker at our churches Shoe show. A way to try and get women involved in the church. Wednesday: School, W.W. (-3) dinner, then the technology committee meeing of which I am now visechair. Thrusday: School, stayed after for about two hours, then dinner and SUrvivor. Friday: School, then Date night. Which was alot of fun since we haven't been on a jsut us date in a while. Saturday: breakfast, grocries, lunch, went to see the Convenant, very lame, then went to the bridal shower for one of my former students. then came home and Brad had a friend over, played a few video games, then I went to bed and they stayed up til 4 in the morning watching the UK football game. Sunday: Brad and I did a skit in the early service, then SS then skit then home for some sleep, now I have homework, housework, work work, a SS rally to go to and bible study to plan and teach.
